Never close the vents in the vehicle and never reduce the forced ventilation. In small spaces with several people and possibly gas appliances (stove/heater), this can lead to oxygen deprivation and, in the worst case, suffocation. Do not overtighten the screws in the plastic. This could damage the roof vent's screw bosses. Never use countersunk screws, as these could cause damage to the roof vent. Use only soap and water for cleaning. Harsh cleaning agents can damage the surface of the roof vent.
