Note on use The folding adapter (item no. 11900) is specifically designed for use with the BC260 or BC260 BLACK bike rack. It mounts between the slide rails and the base bar and allows the rack to be easily tilted to access the caravan's drawbar box. To ensure correct and safe use, ensure installation is carried out according to the enclosed instructions. This folding adapter may only be used for its specified function. Improper use, such as mounting on unsuitable racks or vehicles, may result in damage and pose a safety risk. Danger and safety information • Secure installation: Ensure all screws and connections are properly and securely tightened. Improper installation may cause the rack to become loose while driving. Ideally, have the installation checked by a qualified technician to further increase safety. • Tilt mechanism: Before each use, ensure the tilt mechanism is properly locked to prevent accidental release. Check that the lock is properly engaged by gently rocking the mechanism and ensuring an audible click is heard. Incomplete locking may result in personal injury or property damage. • Risk of injury: Make sure that no body parts or objects are in the area of the folding mechanism to avoid crushing or injuries. Maintenance and care Check the folding adapters and bike rack regularly, ideally before every ride, for wear or damage. Clean the parts with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Lubricate moving parts as needed to ensure smooth operation. Do not use harsh chemicals, as these could damage the surface.
